The Toledo Museum of Art is located in the historic Old West End of downtown Toledo. The endowment for the Toledo Museum of Art is always in the top 10 in the country (more than 30,000 works of art), and the new building dedicated to glass blowing will guarantee the museum's status as one of the nation's best for years to come. Due to the international status that the Toledo Museum of Art has achieved, it is commonplace to see vast exhibits on loan from around the globe. The collections come from other museums, and private collectors who want to share their art. Not only can you look at art when you visit the museum, but you can also make it! Classes of all sorts are offered, and the glass blowing program is internationally known (and almost impossible to get into).
