Patrick Martin and his Clay baseball teammates got a second chance at Whitmer in last night's Division I district semifinals, and the Eagles made the most of it.

Clay grabbed a 3-0 lead in the opening inning to back Martin on the mound, and Eagle ace A.J. Achter came on to close the door for the final six outs in a 4-2 victory at Skeldon Stadium.

The Eagles (21-2), the defending district champions, will meet St. John's Jesuit (21-4) in the final at noon tomorrow (May 19th).
