Bowling Green State University has hired former Seton Hall basketball coach Louis Orr. Orr will take over a team that failed to reach the NCAA tournament in 10 seasons under Dan Dakich.

Orr led Seton Hall to the NCAA tournament twice and to the NIT in 2003 before he was fired last March.

He was named Big East coach of the year in 2003.

It has been reported that Orr will be paid a salary of $160,000 -- making him the highest paid athletics coach at the university.
