As the final days count down for the Toledo Sports Arena, the Storm has played better on ice.

Their second straight victory was a 3-1 decision over the Johnstown Chiefs on Wednesday. Toledo goals were scored by Scooter Smith, Jeremy Hall, and Nick Parillo. The win moves the Storm alone in 3rd place in their division.

The Storm has two remaining regular season games: Friday at home against Dayton, and Saturday at Dayton. After that the Storm enter the playoffs for a run that hopefully will extend their life a few extra days.

When the season is over, the ECHL franchise will become suspended until a new arena is built downtown Toledo.
